With Clint Black at The 71st Dallas Petroleum Club Ball

What a year Party on the Moon has had! We owe so much to the event planners that, in putting their trust in us to deliver the highest level of entertainment, have in turn given us experiences of which most people can only dream.

Todd Fiscus and his team at Todd Events took us to Cabo San Lucas for Eli Manning’s wedding 3 months after he won the MVP trophy for the Super Bowl. You can probably imagine how exotic and elegant that was. Surely they can’t top that? Not with a gig in Dallas!

They may well have done it. The Hilton ballroom was so elegantly appointed that Queen Elizabeth would have felt right at home. POTM’s stage was split in half and guests entered the ballroom between the two halves, (which were behind curtains making them unaware of it).

An exquisite menu was served and, as they dined, guests were serenaded by a 30-piece big band in white tuxedos, (kind of like Guy Lombardo, but with a hipper song list). Following dinner, the lights went down on the main stage and when they came back up country star Clint Black and his band kicked the party into high gear with an over ninety minute concert of his hits.

During Clint’s show, on the opposite side of the ballroom hidden from view by curtains, the main entrance was closed off while the POTM stage was pushed back together and everything plugged back in. As soon as Clint said “Thank you Dallas”, the curtain dropped and a seamless transition to Party on the Moon’s 3-hour dance show began.

It was after 10:30 when we started but we had a full dance floor until after one o’clock in the morning. Among those still dancing at the end… Todd Fiscus. Finally able to relax and unwind!

Todd, Dennis and the members of Party on the Moon thank you for another FABULOUS memory!
